Technology in service of the person
The Opportunity
AI could be the most revolutionary technology to advance human potential in a century. For the first time in history, an ordinary person can carry a research library, a design studio, a diagnostic lab, and a patient teacher in their pocket—for roughly the price of a phone plan. If these tools stay in the service of the people using them, the next thirty years could produce more human accomplishment than the last three hundred.
Field of inquiry
What this work encompasses

- More capability dispersed beyond institutions
- More room for judgment, initiative, and enterprise
Sponte is not organized against technology. It exists to secure technology’s human promise by ensuring that increasingly capable tools remain instruments of human judgment rather than systems of centralized permission and control.
